Lifeguarding Classes beiing offered at the YMCA

There are several upcoming LIFEGUARDING opportunities available.

If you are currently a lifeguard and need a reertification - there is a class being offered at Addison Central School Distrit

If you would like to become a lifeguard.....

Classes are being offered at the YMCA in Corning.  Cost --- Members of Y -$190, Non-members of Y $240.

May 3rd-May 5th (Friday 5-8:30, Saturday 8-4:30, and Sunday 8-2) This will fulfill the Deep water requirement as well as CPR.

May 31-June 2nd (Friday 5-8:30, Saturday 8-4:30, and Sunday 8-2) This will fulfill the Deep water requirement as well as CPR.

June 28-June 30 (Friday 5-8:30, Saturday 8-4:30, and Sunday 8-2) This will fulfill the Deep water requirement as well as CPR.

August 4-August 6th (Friday 5-8:30, Saturday 8-4:30, and Sunday 8-2) This will fulfill the Deep water requirement as well as CPR.

We are always looking for parents to volunteer! Please consider becoming a lifeguard.

It is mandatory to have lifeguards during practices, at times our student lifeguards are not available and we need others that can fill in at a moment's notice so we don't need to cancel the practice.  Many parents stay at practice and watch their swimmers. Becoming a lifeguard would be a fantastic way to help the team. Please consider getting certified!
