The following is from Webster.  Please read through this carefully. 

There will be over 800 swimmers, please DO NOT ask for any changes to be made to your swimmer's events.  It will not be allowed!

 

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for attending the 2024 Niagara Junior-Senior Power Point Championships. We appreciate your support and are excited to host over 800 swimmers in the meet. It should be an exciting 2.5 days of racing!

 

Here is some info to share with your families and coaches:

  • Times for Session 4 on Sunday PM have been adjusted to accommodate the length of the AM session. New times for Session 4 are:
    • Warm up start: 2:30pm
    • Meet start: 3:30pm

No other session times have been changed.

  • Our hosted meet page  has been updated with finalized:

    • Heat sheets  (please print these for yourself or use your mobile device)  They are not being sold at the meet
    • Session reports
    • Psych sheets
    • Timing assignments    We need 2 timers for this meet.  Saturday morning we are required to have 3 timers in lane 3.  Please plan on helping to time.  They will train you on how to do this.  THIS IS MANDATORY!
    • Seating & Warm up assignments (this will also be posted at WAC to assist teams)  Swimmers will be using lane 3 for warmups.  We will be at the far end of the pool for our seating.  THis is the opposite end from the front lobby - we will be sitting in the same area as Palmyra Macedon Swim Club, Chenango Valley Swim Club, and Adirondack Bluefins Swim Club.
  • Heat sheets will only be available at the meet for coaches and officials. Please have families print and bring their own or access it through their mobile devices.
  • We will be doing flyover starts.
  • Concessions will be open offering drinks, snacks and pizza.
  • Hospitality for coaches and officials will be in the conference room.
  • Northwest Designs will be onsite selling custom meet apparel. They will be located in the upstairs balcony area.
  • Ultimate Swim Shop will be at the meet selling last minute items needs for your swimmers. They will be located in the upstairs balcony area. Ultimate will only be at the meet for the Saturday and Sunday sessions.
  • There will be coaches’ meetings on Saturday at 8:15am prior to the start of session 1 and 1:45pm prior to the start of session 2, both in the conference room. Others will be done as needed and communicated on deck.
  • Swimmers in the 500 and 1000 freestyle events must positively check in on the sheets posted behind the timing table by the end of the warm up period the event will swim. Swimmers in event 25 Girls 11-12 400 IM do not need to circle in. There is less than 1 heat of swimmers so we have pre-seeded it and included it in the program for Sunday AM
  • All patrons are asked to park in designated spots only. Parking in the grass or in the fire lane striping is prohibited at all times. Illegally parked cars may be towed at the owner’s expense.

 

  • For all Bills fans that will be in attendance for the Sunday PM session, we will be streaming the game on the scoreboard once the AM session ends thru the PM session warm up period. Go Bills!
